Squatters

I ran across an interesting article about squatters. Sad subject matter but I have wondered from time to time with all the houses being foreclosed on and the rising poverty rate how our society is dealing with all the issues that arise. In California "local code enforcement officers, real estate agents and police encounter them regularly". Banks are offering people money to get out rather than go through the eviction process. Groups even help squatters into empty homes.

Maybe we won't have Hoovervilles again but this will certainly continue and grow. How can we name it after Bush.....
