Key to City of Bellingham Offered to Jon Stewart

I am sure you have heard of the Mt. Vernon Washington Mayor Bud Norris' plan to give the key to the city to Glenn Beck. If not here it is. When Beck finally blows his stack and is taken away in a straight jacket or handcuffs will those that supported his rantings be able to keep their heads high?

In a similar, but much more reasonable, publicity ploy Bellingham Washington Mayor Dan Pike has offered the key to his city to Daily Show host Jon Stewart.

"The mayor of Mount Vernon is free to do whatever he wants, but I think Glenn Beck is out of touch with, what I think, certainly most of the constituents I talk to believe," Pike said. "I actually think Jon Stewart does a lot better reporting."

What a great smack down to Mt. Vernon if Jon does come....
